Questions and Answers Part 4
Q: I saw on this website "coolbillboards.com", and it was talking about things to look for in a company. One thing he said was that the company should not have trailers? If I started a mobile company, this is how I would start out. What should I do?
A: Hi Stephen, There is nothing wrong with mobile billboard trailers, in fact it’s a great way to start and I show you what I did to make a substantial amount of money doing it in the guide. What "cool billboards" was referring to is that if you hire a company to do "mobile billboard advertising" that they do it with a mobile billboard and not a mobile billboard trailer, not that a mobile billboard trailer is bad, but because you have many "bad" companies out there that will charge the rate of a mobile billboard and make the client think that they are using a mobile billboard but in fact they are just using a mobile billboard trailer which is cheaper to make and produce than investing into a mobile billboard to do the job, in other words a "bait and switch"
If you start a company that is a mobile billboard trailer advertising company than make sure you let your customers know and charge accordingly. Mobile billboard trailers are great and companies respond very well with them. If you get your copy of the guide you will appreciate the chapter on "mobile billboard trailers" and how to make money with them.
I hope this helps!

Q: First, I would like to research the business inside and out before making any decisions.
I also would like your opinion on Go Mobile Advertising and their affiliates. Is the price for the truck and affiliation worth the steep price they ask? That is a pretty big debt to go into without any experience in advertising.
A: Hi Damion, I totally agree with you, researching the business before you get into it is an intelligent decision and should be done. The mobile billboard guide explains a lot without busting your budget, and of course there is a lot of free information out there on the net.
How much is Go Mobile Advertising asking for and what does it include? Most of the time companies will promise all this fortune and make you believe that you'll be a part of it and as soon as you purchase you become the red headed step child. The biggest part of success in the business is getting clients, that's it! Go Media Advertising is no McDonalds when it comes to branding so in essence, their name is not going to increase getting clients or making profits.. Their marketing alone is pretty bleak.. Just go to YouTube and type in "mobile billboards" who is number 1 or 2? are they? are they in the top 10? how about "Googling" the word "mobile billboard, mobile billboards or truck advertising" (the stuff people search for when they want to advertise with a mobile billboard), are they in the top 10?, if not how are they going to help you and make you money.. In my opinion, follow someone who knows what they are doing so you can do what they do..
Get back with me and let me know what they charge..
